to my photo book
I am a professional photographer of people and places. My work on Martha's Vineyard documents the many weddings, reunions and celebrations that take place on this beautiful island. To my clients, I offer a camera's record of their celebration & joy. To meet a demand of the general public, I also create commercial quailty prints and gift cards. In my photographs I try to capture relationships we have with this special island, and our cherished moments with family and friends.
At the end of the book is a "contact" page where you can ask questions about my services. You can also request my help in creating lasting images of your best times here on the island. On the "comments" page you can see what past clients and the media say about my work. Thank you for visiting.

About the Photographer
Debbie Grant is a third generation Vineyarder (her father built & operated the Chappy Ferry), whose keen eye and sensitivity for the best of Martha's Vineyard is enriched by a deep respect for the island "village" at work. Indeed, it is her her love for family, commitment to children, and a delight in fellowship that infuses her photography with energy and joy.
As evidenced in her portfolio, photographs become records of the rituals, relationships and friendships that bind us. Images are given to the client as touchstones - a way back to the moments when the bonds of family and friendship are intense - memories of times and of people that support us as we move forward through life.
Debbie works with a Nikon D700, and state-of-the-art digital imaging software to provide clean, professional and archievable images. Digital slide-shows as well as hard print photo-albums can be designed & produced in house, at the clients request.
